- This folder represents the early years of the ANS Numismatic Travelling Exhibition, from its first inception in 1926. For other museums that participated in the ANS Numismatic Travelling Exhibition "A Bird's Eye View of Coinage" in later years, a search for "travelling" should yield the folders of these instutions. For instance, see [Osborn, George A., 1928-1929 (Librarian, Rutgers College Library, New Brunswick, New Jersey)], as Rutgers College Library had the exhibit on display in December of 1928, after which it was passed on to the Trenton Trust Company (Trenton, NJ).
- Notes_1
- Many of the institutions that participated in the early years of the ANS travelling coin exhibition also have their own separate folders of ANS correspondence.
